Title: Rats!!!

Hi all

Have noticed that rats have been visiting the chicken run. All food is always stored away at night.

Was wondering if anybody had any thoughts on a good rat poison to use. Or any poisons that people had found worked really well.

We bought one called Tomcat.  You put it in a short piece of drainpipe so that other wildlife can't get access and lay the drainpipe on the known runs of the rats.

Did the trick for us.

You could use snap traps. Glue some bait on it.
If mice, chooks will eat them. Rats leave a big hole to get into run. Make sure that only what you want poisoned is poisoned and dispose of bodies in a waste bin
