nesting boxes
« on: May 03, 2009, 09:54 »
Hi all
Bad news here a fox got all my hens, now I have to get some new ladies, not sure wether to go down the egg hatching route or get some POL birds (any one know of a supplier near west London?)
I now have a new improved runfor the hens (when we decide which to get) hopefully this will keep the foxes out (it may even be a feral cat,not sure)

I read some time back about tipping trays (its some kind of hopper system) to stop the hens eating the eggs, can anyone remember it ?
If a link or contact could posted it would really be appreciated
It's all about the journey, not the destination

I assume they are called tipper trays, maybe they are known by another name, but the hens lay their eggs, then this sort of tips them away so they cant eat the eggs

I saw something about them ages ago, but cant find the topic now or where to get them from
