The hens decided to moult last month - there are feathers everywhere and they are looking a bit ragged - weathers now turned is there anything I can feed them to help boast feather production....

We're in Hamsphire and its been very strange here and almost like spring....

You'll find they will be fine but some people give extra protein in the form of fishy cat food or tuna in water.

I'm near to you OP and agree it's been spring like here.

Mine have 1 1/2 pints of white maggots (from the fishing tackle shop) once a week.  Pure protein to help with feathering and helps ward off any potential crop problems too.

some people also use poultry spice, nutridrops, ACV in the water and/or garlic granules.
