I have found in the following documents

The Best Before date for a egg is a maximum of 28 days from when the egg was laid.  WOW I never knew that!!!
A sell by date, which must be at least 7 days ahead of the Best Before Date.
I have mentioned this before but "You should keep them cool (but not chilled), and protect them from changes to and extremes of temperature; the ideal storage temperature is between 5° C and 17° C. You should keep them out of direct sunlight and away from other goods that might flavour them, such as onions or washing powders."  Do not think that the flavours can get through the egg shell but still air on the side of caution.
They also mention about packaging labels.

Consumer: keep refrigerated after purchase

Shunshine Aunt Sally?  I live in the North West of England we dont get sunshine.  We have rain, drizzle and sleat.
