Hello All,
My name is David and I'm from Penkridge in the Midlands.
As of 13:00 today I am the proud tenant of a 1/2 plot just round the corner from my house.
The plot has been vacant for a while and is somewhat overgrown and will need some serious elbow grease to get it up to code.
Although I've helped out friends and family before this is the first allotment I've had on my own and I'm very excited to get started.
Ill be prioritising getting the plot completely cleared so I have a blank canvas and hopefully get at least 1 raised bed built within the next fortnight so I can get some winter salad in (if I'm not to late that is).
I'm very wet behind the ears so any advice will be greatly appreciated.
