Hooray!  my asparagus crowns arrived this morning 

I am unable to plant them until Saturday though and wondered if anyone can offer me advice on how they can be stored as no instructions arrived with them.

Keep them in their bags and store them in the top of your fridge.

Keep them cool and out of light until your ready.

Thats brilliant.  I've just stuck them into the fridge (though they didn't come in bags, just a cardboard box).

The instructions (in the box) say

"Keep the box open and hold at 3-5 degs C until conditions are suitable"
