How to get rid of slugs?

I'm plagued by them.
The most effective dispatch methd I have found is a dusk wander with a torch and a skewer. Stab them, then flick them over the fence.

That of I just cut them in half with a gardening knife.

I Just use the organic slug pellets

I found out by accident that they like the complete dried cat food. We had a bowl outside it rained which filled it with water and the slugs fell in (must be trying to eat it) and drowned. Organic enough for me!

Dont you just love them slugs and snail not

anyway on a lighter note some thing I spotted in yesterday daily mirror. Snail can now slow down the royal mail
