An 'all in the oven' meal of chicken tray bale with potatoes and courgettes, plus chard stems and celery braised in chicken stock.

All home grown veg  :)

A rather nice chicken from the farm shop, roasted with potatoes & a few parsnips ftf, with steamed new potatoes, carrots, peas, broad beans & yellow French beans, stuffing & some really lovely gravy. Not sure now whether to have the rest of the chicken tomorrow or a cottage pie from the freezer ???

BBQ again, under cover, not because it was raining, just a chill in the air, and we've only just come inside.
A really pleasant way to end the weekend  :D

Freebie chicken sausages from work, plus fridge gravel. It was better than it sounds

I chopped the sausages up into bits, fried them with the veg, added tinned tomatoes and chilli paste and simmered for a bit, then served the lot over rice.  OH thought it was fantastic and wolfed it down.
