Finally got my in-laws to have a look at what they've got in their three large chest freezers!  We are eating the stuff they donate to us as they bought it but now 'don't like it'.  Chicken Kiev, salad and new potatoes tonight. They are both self isolating as both have major health issues and are 80. On our way to the shop each morning we drop off the paper and any shopping they want and leave it on the top of the freezer in the garage and talk to them on the phone or through a bedroom window.  We have also confiscated FIL's car so he really can't go out. Will see what we get tomorrow! :D

Proper big thick pork chops with vegetables. Debating what type now... cabbage and potatoes.

No home made bread until tonight, it's rising however long it takes to get high. I've a 200g Cotswold dark/300g white bread, and a  I've a 200g wholemeal/300g white bread proving to cook in the slow cookers.

Sea food Chinese fried rice (even remembered to boil the rice yesterday to dry out a little in the fridge!)

Yesterday, after a busy garden day, I just made a couple of rounds of cheese and salad sandwiches.   Eyes bigger than my tummy - so tonight it is half the sandwich, what can I have with that ?    Soup maybe !.  Mrs B

The rest of yesterday’s roast beef in a hotpot, it was a bit too good to use up like that really but after a shopping trip I’m too frazzled to stand & do a rerun of a roast dinner, hubby & I will enjoy it but not sure about the guests, oh well they could always cook for themselves lol
