I ran late getting back from the plot, so it was shop bought steak pie, oven chips and veg.  OH was alright to wait a bit for tea, but I had been digging and clearing up for 3 hours and it was me stomping round saying 'feed me, feed me now' for a change

Prawn and chorizo rissotto.  All from bits and  pieces found in the fridge/freezer and cupboard.  Three prawns each, two pieces of chorizo, sugar snaps, courgette, onion and half a pepper.  Surprising what you can do when you put your mind to it.  We always have those semi baked rolls in the cupboard so a couple of those with it and we are replete.

Chicken stew with potatoes, swede, carrot, onion and celery, plus that barley and split pea soup mix.  It also got herbs from the garden added in.

Pud was plot rhubarb that had been lightly cooked, then set into raspberry jelly  :)

Chicken in a tarragon mustard sauce with potatoes and peas. Not to self, find peas and relocate to inside freezer.
Brown lentils and butternut squash with onions for me  :D.

Tonight is mystery freezer meat splat. I'm positive it's mince that I cooked up with onions and carrots ready for one of my last passata cartons.

It started out as Jamie's recipe
 https://www.jamieoliver.com/recipes/vegetables-recipes/roasted-cauliflower-with-cumin-coriander-and-almonds/
Now, being lazy, I just toss the blanched and drained cauli in ready ground spices before frying it and the almonds in butter/oil for a few mins. Squeeze over some lemon juice and finish under the grill, rather than in the oven

Haven't got around to this one yet.  OH won't eat almonds, so I have bought some toasted coconut flakes as a sub  :)

Tonight is curry night though and we have got a sweet potato, plot greens and dhal curry already made and sitting in the fridge waiting.  I love it when a plan comes together

Spicy chicken breast strips with coleslaw, cuc, celery and the last of the Piccolo tomatoes. Don't think I'll be getting any more of those in a hurry.
Just did a quick check on Trashco and their book a delivery slot calendar only shows 3 weeks and there are no free slots at all. So I couldn't order, even if I really needed to  ::)
