John had been out fishing yesterday and offered us crab meat, so crab salad for tea.  Today it was only the brown meat left which I'm not keen on so I had tuna and Paul finished off the crab with potato salad and other salad bits. It' too hot to contemplate anything cooked.  Tomorrow it's supposed to be lasagne with salad, depends  on the weather.

I have been working a lot of late nights this week, but made it back early enough for tea the last couple of days  :)

On Friday we had a takeaway curry, so I had shashlik chicken (chicken, tomato and pepper skewers cooked in the tandoori oven) and spinach rice.  Not had the spinach rice before, but it was great.  I might try making that.

Yesterday I brought home a couple of steaks from work, so we had them with plot new potatoes and homegrown salad.

Today OH is off on a trip for a couple of days.  Back to more mundane stuff if I am just cooking for me.  I have a lot of bits and bobs of homegrown veg in the fridge, so I think a stir-fry with noodles could be on the cards  :)

Beef chilli with nachos. Continuing the alcohol theme, I've been cooling off with copious amounts of cider :)

After a particularly trying day I rewarded myself with a mountain of chipotle chicken wings and onion rings, plus some delicious bottles of Sadler's Mud City Stout 6%, finally back in stock at my local supermarket.
