Thought I'd be kind...
« on: September 23, 2012, 23:22 »
...and let madam in for a treat in my kitchen in this foul weather.  From the next room I could hear that familiar sound - yes - it's the ejection of the watery poo - all over my doormat.  Being the forgiving type (and weather so foul still) all was forgiven and after a quick clean up she was allowed to stay (damage done now anyway) and what do I hear?  That too familiar sound again!

Right - out ya go!

She does have a shelter in the garden........
One grandma and 4 baby Pekins.

Oooohh I'm glad I'm not the only one! Of course they never land on the tiles do they? That's just for the dry ones.

But I did feel sorry for them today, even though there is plenty of natural shelter, a greenhouse, a garage and a coop with a thick layer of fresh shavings............

Telling me all about it!

Where are the fluffy bums? Drowned rats.

Probably better for them not to be in a nice warm house and then have to sleep outside in the cold!  Thats my excuse for not letting mine in anyway.

On the other hand it is too cold for young chicks so they are in the study.  Hubby was not impressed but he soon changed his mind when he saw how cute they are.

It only has to start raining a little bit and mine rush straight into the coop - I think they're worried about ruining their hair-do's!
