Title: sweet corn

just harvested 2 cobs from my sweetcorn. Look nice but
there are gaps between the kernels. have I harvested too soon
or has something been nibbling :?:

Were they planted in a block? As far as I know each kernel has to be pollenated and if there are gaps it could be due to incomplete pollenation of the cob.

think you picked them too early cos the nibblets are last to form , i bet someof the nibblets you did get was whitish in colour ?

Not much of a block or pollination source five plants.  Can very well be a pollination problem.
