Cabbage White Butterflies
« on: August 28, 2010, 09:16 »
After having complete disaster with my summer cabbages the catterpillars were well fed though :tongue2:  I have got some more to put in to over winter but just wondered when the butterflies stop laying and will it now be too cold for them.  I am hoping to get some enviromesh before next spring (putting it on Christmas list :D)

I'm not sure about the butterfly life cycle but do you have pigeons?  They get hungry too ...  >:(
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

They should be finished eating by the end of september, but I suppose it depends on weather conditions. Much more cold weather like today and they might develope into chrysalis early....brrrrrrrrrrrrr. Just been checking my PSB, it's doing a lovely line in lace, the eggs have been laid through the mesh where I didn't realise it was touching. Got large and small white caterpillars....little b******.  >:(

The moderators should keep a better eye on the moderators.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

As a moderator not involved in the previous moderators' exchange, can I moderate the moderators and invite them to use some moderation in becoming unmoderated?

 ;)
