First courgette!
« on: May 02, 2015, 16:34 »
I have some Parthenon self fertile courgettes in 5ins pots awaiting transfer to the unheated mini-tunnel at the plot. One has already got a courgette on it.

Dead pleased about it  :D :D

Anyone else got courgette news yet?

Lucky you  :) My news is that they haven't decided to either grow or die . they're just sitting there  ???

Good grief I only put seeds in small pots last week - can see the first signs of green. Not to rush with the weather forecast for this week - it would be the high winds that would do no good outside.

Mine are thinking, like waiting for men to get out of the loo.

Hide the allotment mags they will never grow

Mine are still in their packets, although I occasionally hear them jumping up and down trying to get out!  ;)
Sow your seeds, plant your plants. What's the difference? A couple of weeks or more when answering possible queries!

Hmm...on second leaves and only just gone outside into cold greenhouse today.  I do have tomato flowers though

You're pleased now- just wait until July when we'll all be thoroughly fed up with them

I seem to be way behind all of you only at second leaf stage with courgette, I was going to pot them on into bigger pots later this week as weather isn't near good enough to plant out yet.
