Title: greenhouses

can anyone tell me how best to vent a polycarbonate greenhouse please.i lost all my brassicas to damping off last year,and was told that my greenhouse maybe needed venting.

Has the greenhouse not got a window you could leave open a little? You can buy solar powered fans that fit into the roof that work when the temp rises. Will have a look to find the link .....

But generally speaking,brassicas don't really need to be in a greenhouse any way, they are perfectly hardy:)

I wouldn't put brassicas in a greenhouse - a cold frame maybe, until they're big enough to plant out.

thank you,i will not put them in there this coming season. ;)yes there is a window in the roof and it was open most of the time,especially when it was hot with the door open too ???
