Tecumseh engine
« on: May 14, 2011, 12:57 »
Hi everyone,
In Oct 2007 we put a new Tecumseh Engine - Vantage 35 eco tec (ELV 133E1 E-33102) with cold start primer (red push button) on our  Alko farmer Rotovator.

Just lately the red push button does not seem to be priming the engine properly, we think the diaphram may need replacing, but where do we get one from.

Can anyone also tell us the make of Carburettor that this engine has.
Regards Vron.

I know that Tecumseh engines made under licence by Aspera in Europe had a Del-Orto carb and the primer bulb type looks similar so may be another Del-Orto derivative. However Tecumseh parts are easily available and cheap, try eBay, you should have no problems getting genuine Tecumseh carb spares.
