Sheds. Metal or Wood?

I've done a search for this but can you imagine how many returns a search for 'metal sheds' returns on an allotment forum.

So, what's best. My gut instinct tells me wood would be best but I've no evidence or facts to substantiate my hunch. :)

Oh I think deffo wood  :D   With wood you can knock in those oh-so-important nails for hanging things from, and screw-in cup hooks and tool hangers, not forgetting shelves and worktops.  It sort of evolves as you need a place to hang your onions or car keys  :D

The wood ones are easier to 'improve' and the metal ones seem to be a bit tinny.
Self-sufficient in rasberries and bindweed. Slug pellets can be handy.

The playgroup my wife works at had me and some other dad's put up a 12"x8" metal shed after some charmer burned down the wooden one they had. They now have a metal shed that (a) leak because the same charmer came and jumped about on top of it, denting the roof panels and (b) a horrendous condensation problem, caused by the metal getting colder than wood would and condensation forming on it.
I'd get  a timber one if t'were me :D
Blimey! You mean you can *grow* things in soil?

Wood without a doubt, the plastic and tin ones can build up condensation inside and can get very hpt
