Aphids and ?

i know what the little green critters are but what about the bigger things? they look kind of like ticks or something?

I think they could be mealy bug there's quite a few varieties :roll:

They look more like little spiders to me.

I've got them all pover my summer sprouting broc. When you 'squidge' them they just crumble into dust.

my broccoli's got lots of aphids hidden in the tips - which i discovered after cooking - but luckily before eating!!!

don't think they're spiders - from zooming more only 6 legs i think.

they look like mealy cabbage aphid (Brevicoryne brassicae) to me. difficult to see on the pic but the big fat ones may have been parasitised they go big like that and die.

Had a lot of black aphid this year over my beans and fruit trees too
