I enjoyed the interesting videography. I also enjoyed watching how much he enjoyed what he was doing.
I will say that while he seemed to enjoy making his bacterial cultures from rice, milk, etc., that effort is really not essential. Beneficial bacteria and other microbes, adjusted to living in soil, will permeate most healthy soils (healthy meaning not damaged by: salt, harmful chemicals, anoxic conditions caused by flooding, etc.). The easy step would be to mix in a carbon source permeated with the microbes (compost) and let those "bugs" do what they do naturally.
