Title: Complete newbie arriving in London from Canada

Hello,
I haven't even gotten there yet, so how green is that? I've spoken to the nice folks at (what will be) my local allotment site in Barnet, and there are a few plots available to me when I arrive next month.
Lots of reading so far.

Hi there and welcome to the forum Ontarian. There is plenty of reading available here to set you on the right path with your new allotment.

I hope you get tp see the plots so you can choose one that you like the look of!

That's what I call good planning.  Getting an allotment plot sorted before you even get here.  You obviously have your priorities right  :lol:

Welcome to your new home, definitely priorities sorted, did you grow things back in Ontario? How will the conditions differ to what you were used to?

Welcome to the UK, your allotment and this forum.  I'm sure you'll find the forum very friendly and helpful, as I did.  What surprised me when I first joined was the wide range of interests and knowledge the forum members have between them.  I look forward to hearing your experiences on your plot.
