Has anyone heard of a swoe, I think it's similar to a Dutch Hoe but it only has one "leg" supporting the blade. It sounds ideal for getting around closely planted crops with less risk of accidently decapitating them. Years ago my father used to have someting similar but the blade was supported at the centre instead of the sides' I've never been able to find one of these and someone mentioned this swoe thing. Any details would be a help.

Yes that looks like it, you're right it looks like something for getting out of a bunker. Bit to costly for me though

i use one all the time light weight, long handle and it gets right in among the plants.i find for some reason it hurts my back less to use a swoe than an ordinary hoe
