What is this chicken?

I thought it might be a boy. It definitely has a rose comb, not a single comb. I wonder if I can persuade my mum that she really wants barred wyandottes instead of partridge wyandottes. She wanted me to get her a trio of partridge wyandottes for a Christmas present.
