Does anyone else think it resembles a Clanger (for those old enough to remember The Clangers)

I'd make the Clanker noise but no idea how to type it!

When did you plant them out? I put mine in at the very start of April and am getting impatient! I had thought that I might need to wait until the end of August? (My Charlottes were great and are now long gone!)

Mine went in Mid April.  I had no intention of digging until the end of August but one of the plants was starting to die back and the leaves were going purple at the edges.  No idea what this meant but I thought I'd better get rid.  Wasn't expecting anything but found a good handful of sizeable and very odly shaped spuds.  Just ate them with butter and they were heaven.
