Cayuga ducklings

Hi I wanted some cayuga ducks but could'nt find any on the Island, so bought 12 eggs from ebay only 2 hatched , they are now 5 day's old and so cute but they have white bibs I know chicks have different colours before they feather up, but I have seen some runner ducks advertised as having white bibs so will my cayuga's stay like this or is that they are not pure

First time I have hatched ducklings, dirty little devils having to clean them out 2-3 times a day, clean water every hour but such pretty little things I can watch them for ages

Bob and violet are pure cayuga and they had a tiny little bit of yellow as a bib i saw the adults when i collected the eggs so know they are pur here is a piccie

Cayuga ducklings have a yellow blush on their chests like Debbie's picture. It isn't usually all the way through the down to the skin though if you get my meaning (probably not as not sure I'm making myself very clear). I have had Cayuga ducklings and Cayuga crosses. The crosses with a really pronounced yellow bib rather than just a blush did grow to have white bibs.

i bred some about three weeks ago they looked just like that .the funny thing is i bought a dozen eggs form ebay and i got two that hatched as well .thats amazing good luck they are lovelly

Out of 6 eggs Bob and Violet were the only 2 that hatched!?
