Title: new chicks

so i have taken teh plunge and aquired three little bantam chicks this morning, two lavender pekins and one black speckled one.  over the day we have gradually called them zena (warrior princess) coz she was the first to brave and leave her carrier and step out onto weeds (one lavender)!  then babs (from chicken run) coz she was the most cowardly and unsure of life (another lavender).  and last one mac (chicken run also) becoz she just looks like she is plotting something!! 

they're very cute and i have already been seen running round like taz on speed becoz they made a bid for freedom (and got it temporarily!).  once caught they were fine and are more secure!  haven't yet got the run fox proofed enough for nighttime though so they're sleeping indoors for a few nights!

Congratulations on your new chicks, you will have plenty of escapee moments.   :lol:

Don't forget to post some photos for us all to ahhhh at.   :D
