Title: Use for an old Greenhouse frame
Post by: Celtic Eagle on February 01, 2007, 13:02
I've got an old and rather batterd g/h frame so along with the two baths I've got  I thought I know  a shelter around the bath and a bench . The idea is Put the frame up and glass just to the eveas no roof or glass above side wall height Bit of protection from carrot fly and shelter for outdoor toms or peppers our site can get a bit windy Might just use polythene on the frame and use the glass for cloches .

Built a small shellter round me autumn Broadies with glass panels and canes working a treat no wind damage and growing well.

you can cut and fit shutter board to it and have a spare shed .. also seen one glased halfway and used to shelter outside toms the bloke had fitted a wooden bar all round where the glass finished

not forgetting the strong winds not so long ago I would be tempted to makes sure the frame is very strong as I feel the glass and frame would be ripped apart if anything like we just had happened again, me water says it might or is that the moons gravity thingy again???
