Title: Seed Drills
Post by: Digger the Dog on December 20, 2017, 18:29
Seed Drills; has anyone used one?
We've recently got a heck of a lot more "allotment" and need to get semi mechanised.

I've seen the "Super Seeder" and the Wolf but I'm more interested in the Earthway, Jang, Sembnder or the Mid West Garden Products drill or anything similar that some one may have tried.

Yes, it is the "barrow" type like the Earthway that I think might be best.
We've just got hold of another Allotment and that will be more useful for large, long rows,  so anything that speeds up the process would be welcome.

I expect that we will buy the Earthway as all the other makes would mean importing the unit from the USA and the carriage costs add too much to the unit
