I have one at the mo which I'm trying to rear so that it flowers again. I've just tied in the new stem to a stick. The root sticking out the pot looks healthy  :D

A friend of mine grows these in his greenhouse which has to be heated all year round

the roots coming out the pot are a healthy sighn i have been told ,  and to get them to flower move to a cold place and after a couple of weeks bring back in to the warm.
but im sure you would know that :)
i cut back the old stem leaving just the one with the new buds on and after a week i had new flowers showing

I was given one as a birthday present a couple of years ago, as it finished flowering it formed a 'plantlet' on the stem, which I left there until it got larger & had a couple of decent sized roots, I detached it from the stem & potted it up, the main plant is in flower again & the 'baby' is growing well so I am hoping that it will throw up a flower stem one day too  :)
