« on: July 02, 2012, 18:50 »
I have a camble duck that has been sitting on eggs for a week ... Was wanting to know is it 28 days for eggs ?  How can I tell without being attacked by her that they may be fertile? And how strange will they look when  drake is big Aylesbury lol ?

Yes it is 28 days. In theory she will Know if they are viable, it is better not to interfere and let her sort it out. Also ducks are not the best sitters so disturbing her in any way is not a good idea and may put her off. :)
Experience is what you get when you didn't get what you wanted!!

Still got both ducks sitting on eggs can't even get near to remove them as both ducks and drake attack any one who goes near coup ... Worried as so hot and can see them panting hard ... Have put hose on and cooled the top of box ... How much longer to wait till they give up??

What day is it?  29? 30?  If so I'd leave them for a few days yet but I'm sure an expert on ducks will be along soon.
