I planted a few daffs in containers according to the instruction.  Around the end of the year, I noticed a few starting to sprout, but then stopped.   Now they are growing away but I notice that the early showing tips have gone brown, is that because they came to soon, and now the frosts have caught them.    Just curious, Mrs Bouquet

Had you been watering them once they started growing? It's been a very dry February

No, actually, I haven't watered them.   But I am going to now.   It never crossed my mind to water things in February.    Thanks for that advice.   Mrs B

Right, they have all had a good drink, and a couple of other pots as well.    Mrs B.    gosh, its cold out there.
