It certainly was wet here........ damp all day, a few dry patches and Niagara Falls in between.

Anyone else had almighty thunderstorms and hail today?

Yes we had 2 episodes of a thunderstorm, no hail thankfully

Very wet and windy with a touch of sun,i would like less of the first two and lot of sun

It's cloudy with a few breaks this morning, very wet underfoot and feels chilly at 12C; dipped just into single figures in the greenhouse last night

It's just awful, been lashing down for the parts few days. The plot will be like a swamp. Will see what it's like in the morning, have to start getting the rest of the spuds in.

More thunder and rain today.  A bit more sun and no hail, thankfully.  What happened to that Indian Summer I ordered?  Eb*y fail again!!

We had hail    Plus thunder, lightening and torrential downpours.  There was sun first thing and odd glimpses through the day.   Its decidedly cool tonight and feels autumnal

Gales forecast for later - time to batten down the greenhouse and close up the polytunnel.  Not too wet at the moment but hardly pleasant

And I was so sure we'd have a lovely September!

Yesterday afternoon was quite nice here - but the above perfectly describes today! Went to my plot for some harvesting and came back shivery. Heating on soon me thinks

Another day when the maximum temperature has struggled to get into the mid-teens (currently 14C, getting windy, and starting to rain.)

My house has been steadily losing its heat, and so have I, and I'm definitely nearing the point where I might stop slapping my hand every time it strays towards the C/H thermostat!

Windy, still cool (14C), lots of showers, finally succumbed to temptation with the C/H thermostat this morning.

Not complaining though - got two friends currently on holiday in Florida (they're OK) and 2 others currently walking the northern part of the Foss way (OK too, but almost certainly not enjoying themselves given the weather there today! )

We've had a couple of short sharp showers, but did manage to harvest my bigger squash during the sunny bits
