The weather: Today (the 5th) was bootiful. Sunshine all the way from early morning onwards and a mild evening too... the cat thought so - wouldn't come in until 11:30pm!

Thick mist until gone 7am but warm sunshine followed through the rest of the day.

We had summer weather yesterday    Blue sky and warm sunshine and it looks like the same again today.

Lovely day here too with the added bonus of no barbecue

Father-in-law's birthday so family visited for dinner - roast pork and home grown purple sprouting as well as time for the veg plot over the road.

A cool, breezy 10C, mostly dull - more than once it's looked as if it's going to rain, but I'm beginning to think it's forgotten how.

Bright with a strong westerly breeze, temperature 7C with a 'feels like' of 0.2C according to my local weather station (not tried it myself and in no hurry to do so!)

On holiday in Tebay, Cumbria, had lovely sunshine but windy in Morecombe today, but decidedly chilly, showers on travelling. Last hour we have had snow showers that have settled on the hillside opposite our holiday house
