ITs the weekend and its raining very cold and windy :mad:i won't be in the veg plot today

A light covering of snow here this morning - just as forecast!

Here in shoe town it's that rain that is cold and gets down your neck and makes you miserable . But it won't beat me.

We've got snow and snizzle (snowy drizzle) on and off, but its damp underfoot so it is all melting away to nothing.  Its not warm by any stretch, but we have been spared the biting easterly winds we were promised

Cold, cloudy with a biting easterly. Spent a fruitful hour digging over the beds in the comparative warmth of the polytunnel

Quite a breeze here too but the sun is out and the temperatures up - makes for a brighter and more cheerful day!

Today topped up tomato seedlings,sowed some broad beans and now I'm chilling in the sunroom @23dg.reading a book and the odd snooze.The sun is out but low.
Milk it while you can I say.

Lovely & Sunny all day but still cold. Still too wet after all the rain to go & play  outside

We had the sun as well, but a cold wind on the allotments. I made sure my back didn't get cold!

In the garden, out of the wind, it got up to 13C - lovely

Back to the grey chill today.... hard after yesterday's sun and warmth.

11C today and no cold wind here  It was grey first thing but brightened up mid-morning for a plot visit 

Turned grey again a little while ago, so I came home again for a cuppa and something to eat.

Warmer.... quieter....hardly a breeze so hoping for a good day ahead.

We had the rain yesterday so today should be drier if the forecast is about right.

Dry today, a lot warmer, enough to have the kitchen door open a bit whilst I was jamming 😊

Just got in from work and the temperature in the last hour has dropped considerably as the sea mist has rolled in.  Looking forward to this 'supposed' heat wave this weekend so we can go outside and play.
