I had 6 chicken 4 were babies when i got them one of the buff orgbington turn out too be a cock so last week we had too kill him mainly coz he was making a noise during the day and he had started attacking me

anyway this morning i let my five girls out as normal about three hours later i look out the window to see to my horror that my other buff was lying dead in the hegde could she of poss died of a broken heart as her and the cock were very close she had just started laying eggs as well she,d laid about 4eggs no problem with that so sad to lose he any ideas anyone

When they first start laying it can be very stressful for them, this could have caused her to have a heart attack  . Sorry you have lost her xx
