Sorry can I also ask does anyone have any ideas re:paths? Is there anything I could put down that a/ wouldn't wash away and b/would help keep the mud non slidy, I don't fancy the bruising as mentioned above.

For my paths I used bark chippings, but first I dropped the level a bit and pu the exess in the rasied beds to get the level up a bit.  :)

Thanks all, this is really  good advice. I'm going to try and start building some as instructed, although I know it will be harder work for a girly I guess  :tongue2:
