Orchid

This is a photo, hopefully, of my plant which is flowering again.  I don,t no why, I am very mean with it.  But my question is there is a tall stem in the foreground without leaves, what should I do with it.  Mrs Bouquet.

Mrs. B, I don't see a photo attachment?

My general advice regarding the stem you mentioned:: if it seems alive, or is green, leave it on the plant, do not cut it. Old stems are where many orchids store nutrients and water.
