I have looked at the various sites with regards to pruning / training a grape vine and I understand that now is not the time to prune BUT my vine is very mature the trunk must be about 3inches in diameter and has been pruned / hacked about by me last year but I am not totally convinced what I did has had any effect. Can anyone direct me to either a book or site that will tell me with pictures how to prune my beast back later in the year.
