Title: welsh onions
Post by: pops on July 14, 2009, 08:44
AKA  everlasting onions/Allium fistulosum

we have been eating alot of these this year(nice flavour/texture) and a good substitute for spring onions.

my question is how hardy are they and will they overwinter in the ground or should they be lifted ?

They are very hardy and will be fine outdoors.
