Title: New chickens
Post by: Springlands on July 29, 2010, 13:05
My OH wants to buy some new chickens (POL) - does anyone know of a good supplier in Northern Ireland. We already have 3 girls (was four but had to take one to vet today - OH could just not do the job himself) and would like a few more. No particular breed in mind - not too sure what the current hens are - look just like the hens on the right of the picture at the head of these pages.  :)

Thanks nicky d - am going to contact Marshall Simpson.  Like the look of his Banty Hens. Remind me of the ones my Dad used to have when I was a girl (long time ago).

Have been really busy so not contacted him yet - also going on holiday soon so think best to wait until we come back. Best not to have new introductions for our friend to look after.
