Decided to try celery this year as never grown it before.
Read the insructions - germination takes 15-21 days, heat can be helpful, so popped them in the seed tray in the heated propagator and waited patiently.

And then waited a bit longer.

And then waited even longer.

I got one leggy seedly that prompty died and then nothing so at 5 weeks I gave up, sowed a packet of basil and popped it on the window ledge.

Yes, you've guessed it, I now have a tray of mixed celery and basil seedling!

What I'm really hoping for is someone to come along and tell me that they are wonderful companion plants but guessing that I am just going to have an entertaining time pricking them out and trying to separate them all!

Can't remember what the seed leaves look like, maybe they look same/similar, but the first true leaf will tell them apart easily

They actually look pretty different but with the 2 lots in together they are all pretty close and only about a cm high! Bit small to do anything at the moment though!
