strange potato growth

just been and had a good old nosey around the mass of spud plants today and i have noticed that my desiree pots have masses of green fruit type things growing on the tips of the foliage :ohmy: is this normal? and what are they?
i never knew they did such a thing :wacko: look a bit like small un ripe tomatos but dull instead of shiney

They're the seed pods. Just ignore them. They'll be fine. :)

o right :lol:
at first i thought this when i plit one open but the thought about the seed potatos i bought and planted lol so changed my mind. if left to drop seeds then would new seed pots start to grow?

I get rid of mine.  Its my favourite job, the same as pulling of the seed heads from onions :D
