Thinking organic meant = would have that ingredient that pasteurised (which this isn't) ACV wouldn't would this be a good additive for my chickens water?

I've just bought a 500ml bottle of the stuff, so i'm hoping yes!

Cost 1.74 from ASDA. Could this be a very good find?

someone told me the super market stuff was no good, lacks an ingredient  or something, you need to get it from a feed merchant or someone.

the stuff for birds is "rough" cider vinegar which I assume is different from the supermarket refined stuff. It would be much cheaper too. You get it from pet shops and poultry supply places. I got mine at the same time as my hens

I did the same as you FCG but found out I had to have the stuff from a pet store.  They use it for horses.  Mine says on the side of the bottle "Unfettered"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry FCG. It may be organic and have twiggy bits in it and a beard, but it ain't rough enough !  :?

I think it's tannin that the apple cider vinegar contains and they refine out for domestic use.

I may be completely wrong but that springs to mind. I've never used it but it's meant to keep their insides healthy.

You're right, get the stuff that's sold for horses !

It is the tannins that are important as Rob said.

No won't harm them - may not do them much good but won't harm them.

You can use it in the kitchen instead  :D

2 tables spoons in a glass of water Mike, it's meant to be a good tonic, you drink it (tastes disgusting) after all you were going to give it to them!
