I am really pleased to have got a mini plastic sheet greenhouse at B and M for a mere £20 as I have a small garden. Anyone else got one and if so, are they good? It will be great for potting up in. The only thing is I need to make it slug and snail proof

My first greenhouse was a slightly larger plastic one.  It worked very well, but the only drawback with plastic is getting adequate ventilation in them.  Also, make sure they are firmly anchored or if it gets windy they might end up in the next county.

Put a bag of compost or a washtub on the bottom full of it. Or like me a small boulder. This is vital to stop it falling over. Once it has fallen over you'll be facing a right battle for it to work again.

Oh and don't belive it when they say £20. You'll be spending quite a bit more on replacement covers as the UV sunlight makes the plastic sheeting brittle after a year.
