Need some help on finding a cheap shed.
« on: January 09, 2009, 20:39 »
Ok so the title speaks for it self, i really need help finding a cheap shed.
When i say cheap i mean no more than£120-£130, the only one i`ve found is:
http://www.homebase.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?langId=-1&storeId=20001&partNumber=1720901&c_4=4%7Ccat_11775863%7CMetal+sheds%7C10484995&c_3=3%7Ccat_10484994%7CSheds%7C11775863&c_2=2%7Ccat_10308073%7CSheds+and+outdoor+buildings%7C10484994&c_1=1%7Ccategory_root%7CGardening%7C10308073

But it says you need to put the foundation down on it, and i don`t know if that`s going to make it cost more than just buying a wooden shed with the foundation on it.

Please help, as really need one.

Thanks a million

Carl

Unless your ground is very boggy just use paving slabs as a foundation you could even bed the slabs on some sharp sand if u want to. quite easy and not to dear.

Or railway sleepers are good but can be expensive and a pain to transport.
I'm very important. I have many leather-bound books and my apartment smells of rich mahogany.

it may be a bit of hasle but a lot less money. There are quite often sheds for sale in local classifieds in the paper where it normally states "buyer dismantels and collects" so slip you mate with a trailer/van a fiver and he/she will help you transport it or try your local freecycle group i have had three free very good sheds off of freecycle and a free greenhouse out of the paper this is buy far the cheapest but maybe a little time consuming the sheds in the classifieds are normally pretty cheap 40 50 quid or soo hope this is a help and good luck
