I plan to build one of these on the cheap if possible.

hi DMG...we erected our own cage using "butterfly netting" from ebay
it measures about 10m x 8m x 1.8m...we used 4 corner posts and planks...you do not need the internal supports...we used 6mm rope on top of the posts around the perimeter and across the roof sections...we used 2m wide net..but i think it would be better to make the roof with one piece of nett (they sell it in widths up to 8m) as it would be easier to roll it back for over the winter as snow will break it down....f2m2n5BT9zI

Hi, I'm planning to build one with an old gazebo that I got from a carboot sale for £10.00. I'm hoping I can just cover it in netting instead of the canvas. If it works out I'll try and upload a picture

If you look on my diary you will see some pics of mine I have just about finished building. I did lots of research, kept swinging between dearer, more solid wood or what I came up with. Mine cost me under £50 for everything and I have plenty of netting left over
