Hi folks
digging over the new plot, and found a couple of larvae, not got any pics, but they are a very vibrant brown with a black bit at the end, about 3/4 inch long, hard outer skin.
just wondering what they are as I tipped them oot of the plot.

I suppose they could be Leatherjackets.

It's a pupa. It will probably turn into a beetle.

Its a pupa of a moth or butterfly, more likely a moth at this time of year.
