Title: Edamame Beans

I love these beans.  Can I grow them in a container, and if so in what soil ?   Mrs Bouquet

I wouldn't see why not. 

Edamame is an immature soy bean.  According to New Shoot in this post (https://chat.allotment-garden.org/index.php?topic=124952.msg1466406#msg1466406), Elena is a variety which is adapted for growing in the UK, but looking at the seed suppliers it appears that there may also be other varieties..
