Strawberries

Can someone please explain to me why I'm getting strawberries forming and growing at this time of year, there's a couple about an 1" across but still green so I doubt will mature... but why so late?

Lots of odd stuff going on this year, which shouldn't happen until next spring.

I have actually harvested 4 ripe strawberries in the last week.  :( :unsure:
