"Despite the Weather"

Don't forget to put a description with your photo!

Prize – to be announced by John.

Plants that have managed to emerge, chicks hatched under a broody, achievements on the plot - almost anything you have acomplished "despite the weather".

This competition will run until 22nd April 2013 28th April 2013 - with voting open to all members until 2nd May.

The simple rules:

• You can enter one photograph into the competition which should be no more than 640 pixels wide.
  
• It can be anything you want that is related to winter.
  
• It should be accompanied by a short title and some description.
• The competition is open to all "Full Members" i.e. those with more than 50 posts.
  
• At the closing date we will add a poll for members to vote on and the most popular photo will be the winner.
  
• The winners will receive a prize as listed above and the winning photo may be placed in a permanent photo gallery along with the best runners up.
  
• Closing Date for Entries: 22nd April 2013 28th April 2013 and voting will then be allowed by all members until 2nd May.    Results will be posted on 3rd May.

OK, here's mine:

My tiny broody Dotty managed to hatch 5 of her own eggs.  This picture was taken on 07/02/2013 and shows 4 of her 5 chicks already hatched.  They are all doing really well and are nearly as big as Mum now "Despite the Weather".
